See below for some of my favorite general storage solutions that can be used in various rooms. More coming soon

These inexpensive over the door shoe organizers can be used for more than just shoes. Use in the pantry for snacks or spices. Use in the bathroom for toiletries, lotions, makeup, etc. Use in the kid’s room for toys. Use in the craft room or office for supplies. The list is endless.

This storage bin with dividers can store lots of things while keeping them together yet separate. It is usually used for crafts, but can also be used for Christmas ornaments if you like the idea of some division but don’t want to put each individual one in a separate compartment. I like to store mine by color with the colors separated in their own compartment(s).

These bags with metal reels will keep your Christmas lights tangle free while in storage. Tip – roll them up starting with the female end of the plug so that way the male end is at the start when you go to unroll it.

If you have keepsake ornaments that you want to keep in individual compartments, this is a great option. If you like the idea of some division but not a compartment for each ornament see the bin above.

Use these along with index cards to label storage boxes – if contents change you can easily just replace the index card to reflect the new contents.

Clear storage bins are great because you can see what is in them. (Note – I have no affiliation with Walmart and will not receive any commissions from purchases made through this link).
